Experience the Seville Fair 2026 without leaving Valencia

This week Seville celebrates one of its most iconic festivals: the famous April Fair. Recognised as a Festival of National Tourist Interest, this celebration fills the city with flamenco music, dancing, traditional gastronomy and Andalusian culture.

The origin of the Seville April Fair

The April Fair began in 1847 as an agricultural and livestock market in Seville. Farmers and traders from across the region gathered to buy and sell animals, turning the event into an important commercial meeting point.

Over time, the spaces originally used for livestock evolved into the colourful “casetas” that define the fair today, where music, dancing and celebration create the unique atmosphere of the Feria de Abril.

This year you can enjoy that Andalusian spirit without travelling south. The XXXII Andalusian Fair of Valencia brings the atmosphere of Seville directly to the city.

More than 40 Andalusian cultural associations from across the Valencian Community take part in the event, recreating the traditional fair environment with music, dance performances and live shows.
